Hi, we have a reservation to Fort Wilderness Campground from Dec 28 to Jan 6. We'd like to extend our stay to Jan 10. From what I can see there is no room available in the premium section but there is availability in the premium meadow section.

Hey there, Sebastien! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so excited for you to experience The Most Magical Place on Earth next month! I always find that visiting in very late December and early January is a great way to experience all of the fun just after the holiday rush and crowds! Let's see if I can help you out today.

First things first.. extending your stay always sounds like a great idea to me! The more magic, the merrier, right? Unfortunately, when extending, you would need to be able to guarantee the exact same room to keep just one reservation. When you find that there is availability for a different room type, or in this case, Campsite type, you'll need to just make a new reservation and switch from one site to the next on the day your reservation changes over. Basically, you'll have two separate reservations, one for each Campsite, that run one right after the other to make up your total stay. You should keep in mind that check-in and check-out times do apply and note any special requests with a Cast Member on your reservation.

You can make this second reservation online using the Walt Disney World Resort Website or over the phone with the help of a friendly Cast Member. Simply give them a call at the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Line and they'll be able to get you all set up for another magical stay. While you have them on the phone, you can also ask them to double check on availability and see if there is a way to extend your current site so that your family can stay put. Availability is ever-changing as other Guests modify their plans, so it is always worth asking!

While staying at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, I'd recommend taking a trip over to Tri Circle D Ranch. This beautiful, state of the art barn is surely something to marvel at. You're also able to visit with the resident animals and maybe even add a pony ride for the little Mouseketeers in your party!

    Have a magical day,
