Hi, We are in the process of planning our vacation to Disney World and we are considering staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I see alot about the animal programs they have. If you are a guest of the resort is there a fee for all the animal programs?

    Hi Angie!

I was sooo excited to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for our first time during our last vacation.  Unfortunately, we only spent our first three nights there and were at the parks the entire time!  However, I have heard really great things about the various programs at the lodge.  I didn't realize that the programs are actually only for guests staying at this resort - what an incentive!

The only animal activities that will require you to open your wallet are the Sunrise and Sunset Safaris, which are available to concierge guests only.  If you check with the front desk at check in, they will be able to give you an updated list of all the animal programs taking place during your stay.  In the past, I've seen flamingo feedings, animal tracking, wildlife games and more!

We really enjoyed our stay there last month - happy planning!
