Hi, We are planning/hoping to visit Disneyland Anaheim this year visiting from the Netherlands in Europe. Are we able to purchase tickets or a vacation package directly or would we need a US address and/or phone number for that? Thank you.

    Hello, Joey,

If you have visited Disneyland Paris or the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, you likely have noticed they have convenient websites localized to your preferred language and currency. The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California has a few localized websites for Guests visiting from select international locations. For Guests planning visits from locations that don't have an official Disneyland Resort website specific to their home, my recommendation is to start with discussing travel options with a travel agent in your local area. They will more likely be familiar with the nuances of how to book accommodations at the Disneyland Resort Hotels, how to purchase Theme Park tickets, and which methods of payment are appropriate and optimal for you.

That said, I have also met many Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort from various locations in Europe who indicated to me that they simply booked their Vacation Packages or purchased their park tickets directly from the main Disneyland Resort website that services Guests from the United States. The MyDisney account you used to submit your question to us here at planDisney will also allow you to access account-specific features of the Disneyland Resort website. That will be important for making theme park reservations. It is also important that your profile information be current and accurate, especially when purchases need to be verified against actual names and addresses linked to your credit card or other method of payment. Again, I recommend consulting with a travel professional if possible. It may also be necessary to check with your credit card company or bank to confirm policies regarding foreign transactions. It's best to avoid any unnecessary surprises, right?

If you have visited other Disney Parks or sailed aboard the Disney Cruise Line, I'm sure you already know how magical the Disney Parks experience can be. But there is still something extra special about visiting Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom. I'm glad you are planning a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! You won't regret it.

    Have a magical time, Joel!
