Hi there, Jennifer. Welcome to planDisney.
It sounds like you are "ready to begin" planning a happily ever after vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Oh, Jennifer, I can't express how much I love the nighttime fireworks show,
Happily Ever After! While it may sound cliché to say this show is pure magic, it truly is! From the dazzling fireworks to the storytelling in the music, the lights, and the classic characters coming to life in the projections, to Tinker Bell flying high above the crowds through the sparkling fireworks—oh my goodness, I admit I shed a happy tear every time I watch this show.
While we don't yet have the full schedule of events for October 1st, this isn't a party date for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so you will see Happily Ever After. YAY! You'll want to keep an eye on the
Hours & Events Calendar a few months before your trip for the full schedule for park hours, parade times, and the fireworks schedule.
I'm not sure what you have planned for your day at Magic Kingdom, but my favorite way to see Happily Ever After is attending the
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Post-Party. This reservation will allow you to watch the fireworks show from the prime standing location in front of Cinderella Castle, and afterwards, you can indulge in a special dessert party. It's pixie dust on top of pixie dust! There are actually three different dessert parties to choose from, so check out the
Enchanting Extras Collection for additional options.
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, the new nighttime parade, will have premiered by the time you arrive, so be sure to check the showtimes for it as well. Magic Kingdom will truly come alive after the sun sets!
I'm so happy you stopped by to visit us. Please let us know if we can help again! Have the most magical vacation!
Reach out and find your happily ever after!
