Hello Kristy!
Thank you so much for asking me your question! Planning your first Walt Disney World vacation can be overwhelming. That's why I'm so glad you found the Moms Panel. We're here to make it as easy as possible for you to have a magical vacation you're sure to remember.
There are several
resort options for families of five or more. My favorite option (especially when you have little ones) is the
Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. The cabins can sleep up to six guests and there is plenty of room for a pack n' play for the baby. Having a kitchen is great because you can stock up on snacks and milk for the kids (grocery delivery services are available) and eat breakfast before heading out to the parks for the day. Everyone will be fueled up and ready to go, and it helps stretch the budget a little further. Disney even does the dishes for you!
The resort also boasts, some really fantastic amenities. You can definitely spend a lot of time at the resort hanging out and winding down! There are pony rides, carriage rides, a great pool with splash area just for the little ones, a nightly campfire and Sing-a-long with Chip n Dale, and the best part? You're only minutes away from Magic Kingdom Park. With smaller children, it will probably be the park you spend the most time at. You'll be able to head back and take nap and swim breaks each day with ease.
Please come back and see me again real soon, Kristy, so we can get those pixie-dusted vacation details planned!
Have a magical day!
Ashley
