Hi, We are planning our trip for December. Our daughter will be almost 1.5. I know she won’t really remember it. Will she be able to go on all the rides or at least most of them? Best stroller to bring or should I baby wear? Thanks!

    Greetings, Hannah!

Thanks so much for bringing your questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love that you are already starting to plan your Disneyland Resort vacation for this December!

While your little one may not remember every detail of your trip, I have no doubt that you will never forget the look on her face as she meets her first Characters, rides her first attractions, or sees fireworks above Sleeping Beauty Castle. These are the moments I still remember from taking my son on his first visits. While he may not remember his first trip, I know that each time we visited, he would remember things from the last trip and would build new memories upon those. Your daughter is going to have such a fabulous time!

Any attraction that does not have a height requirement is safe for the littlest infant and toddler Guests to ride with a parent or guardian. I think you will be surprised at just how many attractions she will be able to ride on your trip. At this age my son loved the classic Fantasyland attractions of Disneyland Park, transportation like the Disneyland Monorail and Railroad, and the vibrant kid-friendly attractions of Pixar Pier like Toy Story Midway Mania and Pixar Pal-A-Round.

When it comes to navigating the parks with a little one, I ALWAYS suggest a lightweight stroller. We love a simple umbrella stroller for the parks with some storage and cup holders. It's nice to use our stroller to store extra clothes or diapers. You can also always rent a stroller when you arrive. While some Guests enjoy baby-wearing in the parks, I find this to be too hot when walking all day. Plus, having a stroller for naps makes it easier for you and the rest of your family to take turns riding more thrilling attractions using the Rider Switch service.

Don't forget that each park also offers a convenient Baby Care Center to feed and change little ones. This are nice quiet spaces away from the hustle and bustle.

I hope this helps. Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day!
