Hi there, Isela! Welcome to planDisney. There is nothing more magical than celebrating a birthday at The Happiest Place on Earth, and seeing it through your child’s eyes makes it even more special. You really can’t beat it! I’d love to walk you through the ticket process.
To enter Disneyland or California Adventure, both a valid theme park admission and a reservation for the same park on the same date are required for each Guest age 3 and older. In this case, your son will need a
ticket on the day he turns 3.
While you’re celebrating at the parks, be sure to pick up a celebration button at City Hall. This is one of my favorite complimentary things to do. It’s always a joy being told happy birthday by fellow Guests and Cast Members throughout the day, whether you’re 3 or 33.
If you’re able to, definitely make a reservation for
table service dining. My toddler always finds
character dining to be his favorite part of our visits. When we celebrated his birthday at
Storytellers Cafe back in January, he was beyond thrilled to see Goofy and Pluto clapping along as we sang to him.
Isela, thank you so much for visiting planDisney! I hope your son has the best time celebrating his birthday and that all his dreams come true. If you need any more help making his birthday even more magical, planDisney is here for you.
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
