    Hi, We are planning a summer visit to Disneyland. We are thinking of staying at the Disneyland Hotel. We may bring a babysitter with us who would be 15 at the time of our visit. Would she be able to take our 4 and 3 year olds to the pool on her own?

    A trip to the Disneyland Resort with your little ones is such a fantastic idea! Along with timeless attractions and entertainment, there will also be some amazing new experiences to look forward to during summer 2018! The land that is currently Paradise Pier in Disney California Adventure Park will be transformed into Pixar Pier celebrating many of your favorite Pixar stories such as “The Incredibles,” “Toy Story,” and “ Inside Out.”

    You are also making a great choice by considering the Disneyland Hotel for your stay! This classic yet modernly furnished hotel features themes of adventure, fantasy, and life on the frontier. Plus as a resort guest you have access to an Extra Magic Hour at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park every day of your stay!

    Having a babysitter is a wonderful idea and is, in fact, something we would love to have on our vacations! After contacting Recreation at the Disneyland Hotel, for safety reasons, I was told that all children need to be accompanied by an adult (18 or older) at Disneyland Resort hotel pools. Don’t worry as the children can still enjoy a Dole Whip from The Coffee House while watching their favorite Disney movie under the dazzling light-up Sleeping Beauty Castle headboards in your Disneyland Hotel room. While they having fun, I would recommend for the adults a fine dining experience at Carthay Circle Restaurant located in Disney California Adventure Park or a refreshing tropical drink at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar located conveniently at the Disneyland Hotel.
