How ya doin' Sue and welcome to planDisney!
My favorite thing about
Disney's Hollywood Studios is the homage to Hollywood of yesterday. I'm a classic film fan so humming those tunes from the 20s, 30s, and 40s while walking down Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards is a favorite pastime of mine. And what says classic Hollywood like a meal at
The Hollywood Brown Derby, the eatery of the stars!
It sounds like your last visit was pre-pandemic and you were probably able to get a dining package for
Fantasmic! That show, sadly, had to go on hiatus with all the other nighttime spectaculars and fireworks displays. Since the reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort live shows and fireworks spectaculars have been slowly but surely making their way back to their rightful places. At this time, while we do know that Fantasmic! is set to make its return this year we don't have an exact date. Until that time, the fireworks will have to be the ones set off in your mouth from the delicious food at your dinner. There's a creme brulee with mint and lime macerated strawberries on the menu that sounds positively divine!
Pro-tip: While Fantasmic! is still missing, there are still some other great ways to get your fireworks fix at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney Enchantment is lighting up the night at Magic Kingdom Park and
Harmonious is warming the hearts of Guests over at EPCOT.
Sue, I hope that dinner is lovely. If it's early enough, why not pop over to EPCOT on a Friendship Boat for that after-dinner show. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat! Happy planning!
