Hi,we have park reservations at MK and dinner at Ohana, are we able to leave the park, go to dinner then go back to the park? Also, are extended hours only for Deluxe resorts? We have a split stay at POFQ and POLY.One of the late nights, we will be at POFQ.

Aloha, Janice! Welcome back to planDisney and Mahalo for stopping by with another great planning question!

You are someone after my own Disney planning heart, Janice! I absolutely love a split stay, and my family and I do a split stay - where we stay at two (or more!) Disney Resort hotels - every time we visit Walt Disney World Resort. It's the best way to enjoy different Resorts' immersive theming and awesome amenities. It's like having two magical vacations in one! Since you have booked such incredible Resorts (two of my favorites!), it sounds like your planning is off to a practically perfect start. Now, let's tie up your loose planning ends so you can sit back, relax and start your countdown to the magic at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

I think you will be happy to hear that you can absolutely return to Magic Kingdom Park for more fun and fireworks after your 'Ohana dinner. If you have a Theme Park Reservation, you can come and go from that park as much as you'd like that day. My family and I always do just that, and in fact, we have a tradition of having dinner at 'Ohana on the last night of our vacation before heading back to Magic Kingdom for one last night of magic. The atmosphere at 'Ohana is just so relaxing, and I love squeezing every last drop of pixie dust out of my vacation by sipping a Lapu Lapu out of a pineapple and enjoying magical moments with my family. I can't wait for you to do the same!

Yes, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are exclusively for Guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort hotel, and I'm thrilled to report that since you are staying at the oh-so-fabulous Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you will be able to take advantage of Extended Evening Hours on the nights you are staying at the Polynesian. Unfortunately, if Extended Evening Hours are taking place when you are staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, you won't be able to take advantage of that perk that evening, since it is not a Deluxe Resort. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries." Remember that you can take advantage of a Resort's amenities and perks on your check-in and checkout day, so if Extended Evening Hours happen to be taking place on the day you check out of the Polynesian, you will be able to attend!

I hope this helps, Janice, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable upcoming adventure! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way.

    Adventure is out there!
