Hi! We do not have the meal plan but my sister in law does. We are vacationing together. Can/how do we all eat together? And book character meals?

    Hi Jen,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

If I understand correctly, you’re visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your sister-in-law who has purchased a Disney Dining Plan, but you and your family have not. You’re wondering how to make your Disney dining reservations so that you can all dine together during your upcoming visit.

I’m happy to report that all you need to do is to make a reservation for your total party size for any Disney dining location, including character dining locations. That way, you’ll all be able to dine together at the same table.

When it comes to get your bill, just tell your server how you’d like the bills to split and they’ll divide your meals up accordingly. Your sister will be able to use her Disney Dining Plan entitlements and you’ll be able to pay for your meal using whatever method you’d like.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit. If I’ve misunderstood your question or if you need any other assistance, please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
