Hello, Mary Kathy!
Welcome to planDisney. I sailed with my planDisney friends on a
Very Merrytime Cruise last year. It was unforgettably special! Mickey and Minnie's Holiday Party was full of festive fun, and the Tree Lighting Ceremony brought tears to my eyes. You are going to love it!
Dressing up is part of the fun when sailing on the Disney Cruise Line! What you wear is up to you (with a few exceptions, such as no swimwear for dinner in your
rotational dining restaurant). Check the
Dress Code page for more detailed information. I have seen Guests wear full pirate costumes for
Pirate Night and sparkly dresses for the night of Mickey and Minnie's Holiday Party. On the other hand, some Guests decided a pirate-themed shirt was perfect for Pirate Night, and other Guests wore a casual, holiday shirt for Mickey and Minnie's Holiday Party. Some Guests even wore festive pajamas that night! You can decide what works best for your family.
Below is the current itinerary for the November 16, 2024 sailing of the
Disney Fantasy. Keep in mind that this schedule is subject to change. You can check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on your phone for up-to-date information after boarding the ship.
- Saturday - Port Canaveral - casual
- Sunday - at sea - formal
- Monday - Cozumel - casual - Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Party
- Tuesday - Grand Cayman - Pirate Night
- Wednesday - Falmouth - casual
- Thursday - at sea - semi-formal
- Friday - Disney Castaway Cay - casual
- Saturday - Port Canaveral - disembark
Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Party took place once in the evening on our Very Merrytime Cruise. However, there are plenty of holiday activities for your family to enjoy throughout your cruise, such as taking photos with Disney Characters dressed in their finest holiday outfits, meeting Santa Claus, and participating in themed activities for the kids. Specific schedules can be found in the Navigator app while on the ship.
Mary Kathy, thank you again for reaching out to planDisney. I hope your voyage is filled with sweet smiles and holiday cheer!
Happy sailing!
Jen
