Hi We are meeting friends in Disney who are staying for a few nights in a Disney hotel but haven't booked a dining package, if I reserve a table for dinner can they pay at the restaurant? Many thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Helen. Thanks for stopping by.

A dining package is a great way to combine a scrumptious meal and reserved viewing area for nighttime spectaculars. One of my favorite is the Paint the Night dining package at the Blue Bayou Restaurant. My children think it's neat to be eating inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

The credit card that is used when making a dinner reservation is simply used as a placeholder. You must cancel at least one day prior to your reservation to avoid a per-person cancellation fee on the credit card provided. A per-person fee is also charged if your party does not show up. Other than that, payment for the dining packages will be handled at the end of your meal. You can choose another form of payment then.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you continue planning your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Helen. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
