Hi..we ll be at Disney Art of Animation from Jan 13 thru Jan 17...after that we will be in a hotel outside of complex...may I continues to use our MagicBands received in the resort even we have left on Jan17 for Photopass and Park access..tks

Hi, Artur! Your theme park tickets, PhotoPass pictures, and MagicBands are not tied to only your Walt Disney World Resort hotel stay and will not cease to function once your stay ends. Those colorful little bands are instead linked to your My Disney Experience account, which holds all of your essential vacation information.

I try to think of My Disney Experience as the top tier in a MyMagic+ flow chart. I imagine branches coming off this top tier labeled for the hotel stay, theme park tickets, FastPass+, Advanced Dining Reservations, and Disney's PhotoPass Service. Once you complete checkout, you will not be able to access your whimsical room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, but you will be able to still have fun tapping that MagicBand to Mickey touchpoints all over the place, such as those to enter the theme parks or FastPass+ queues, or to link any unforgettable PhotoPass pictures. If you do lose your MagicBand or do not have it with you at any time, you can still have PhotoPass pictures taken. The photographer will give you a PhotoPass card, which you can link to your account to claim the photos.

I hope this information helps you, Artur! Please let me know if you have any further questions as you continue to plan your trip.
