Hi, We are going in July 2019. We have Magic Bands. I'm still confused on how the photo pass works vs. the memory maker? Thank you. Sharon

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sharon!

The photos are one of the best parts of any vacation, right? I love the pictures of all of the places my husband and I have been, but I wish we were in more of the photos together! That's what's so great about Disney's PhotoPass Service. Since there are PhotoPass photographers stationed around all four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort, we never have to look around for someone to take our picture. The photographers know all the best angles of Cinderella Castle and they're experts at getting everyone in your family to smile and look in the same direction!

To answer your question: when you purchase Memory Maker, you are given unlimited access to all of the pictures taken by Disney's PhotoPass Service, as well as attraction photos and some special videos. Let's say you and your family are meeting Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall. A PhotoPass photographer will be there to capture all of those memories for you, and when you tap your MagicBand the photos will appear in your My Disney Experience app! You can select which of those photos you'd like to purchase and download, but with Memory Maker you have unlimited downloads of all of your PhotoPass pictures and videos.

    Have a magical day, Sharon!
