    Hi We have a holiday book for August this year. My sons are looking into booking the surfing school and was interested to find out when is the earliest i can book these and do I have to pay over the phone or when I arrive? Thanks in advance

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so glad you asked about surfing the waves at Walt Disney World.  How awesome it will be to “Hang 10” at the House of the Mouse! Surfing programs at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park vary depending on what you want to do.  Private lessons are offered as well as group events.  Reservations for these highly sought out events should be 90 days in advance.  If you are arriving August 1st, 2015, I would contact 407-WDW-PLAY on or around May 3, 2015. Full payment in the form of cash, credit card, room key (Key to the World card) or Travelers Checks is due at the beginning of the surf lesson. Payment with a MagicBand is not available just yet but I would not be surprised if they are working on that now.  I would verify this with the Cast Member when you call to make your reservation as policies may change.  The prices for each lesson vary on wave size and time. I hope your sons carve some good waves!  Don’t forget your video camera to catch all the action.
