Hi there Donovan! How exciting that you have such a large group of Mouseketeers gathering for such a special occasion!
If you're trying to make
dining reservations for such a large group, I recommend splitting the group up into 2-3 smaller groups, and having several people try to make reservations around the same time. You'll definitely have better luck trying to make dining reservations for smaller groups than for a group of 25 Guests or more.
If you're able to secure dining reservations around the same time, instead of checking in for your dining reservation through the
Disneyland app, I recommend heading to the restaurant a few minutes early to request to be seated together or as close as possible. If you check-in through the Disneyland app separately, it can make it harder for the Cast Members to be able to seat you together.
As an alternative to a table service dining experience, you also could all dine together at a
quick service restaurant, and you wouldn't have to be tied to a dining reservation time. You also could utilize
mobile food and beverage ordering in the Disneyland app to make your experience even more seamless! It can be difficult to find a ton of seating all together during peak dining times, so I recommend eating a little before or after the peak lunch and dinner times for more available seating. Flo's V8 Cafe in Disney California Adventure Park and Stage Door Cafe in Disneyland Park could be great options for your larger group.
I hope this is helpful for your trip planning, Donovan. Don't forget to stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. or Guest Services at Disney California Adventure Park to get your son a complimentary birthday button! Please
come back to planDisney if we can help with any other questions!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
