Hi We are heading to disney in less than 13 sleeps, and was wondering about enter the Magic Kingdom on our first day but not until around 8pm, with a ticket of course. How late are you allowed to enter the parks? Is there a cut off time? Thank you

    Hi Kelly,

You will be at Walt Disney World before you know it!

To my knowledge, there is no early cutoff time for entry into the parks. I've seen people dash in at the last minute to watch the fireworks scheduled at closing time. In fact, I once saw a woman buy a one-day ticket at Epcot at 8:30 p.m., so that she could join her family inside and see the looks on her grandbabies' faces as they watched IllumiNations at 9.

So you should have no problems entering Magic Kingdom around 8 p.m., especially since the park isn't scheduled to close until 11 p.m. on the first day of your visit.

As you said, you will need a ticket for those three hours or so. Other than that, you should be good to go!

Have a wonderful visit! Please let us know if you have any other last-minute questions we can help you with.
