    Hi We are heading over there from Australia to the run Disney weekend in January. We did this in Anaheim Disneyland and loved it. My question is, is Disneyworld open for a extra hour for shopping after the rides stop, like Disneyland does? Thank you

    Welcome to Walt Disney World.  I am so happy you enjoyed your Disneyland vacation!  I think you will love visiting Walt Disney World just as much.  RunDisney is such fun; I hope you get a coast-to-coast medal! 

    In general, most shops in the theme parks do remain open for an hour or so after park closing.  If you are not in a hurry to return to your hotel, this is often a great time to do some shopping and get a little late night snack.  Another benefit of staying in the theme park for some shopping is the smaller crowds when exiting and waiting for your transportation back to your hotel.
