Hi, We are having our first family visit with a 4mth old and 4yr old from Jan16-23, staying at Kidani. I am looking to do some planning around nap/meal times and was wondering how long it takes to get from Kidani to the various resorts via Disney bus.

    Hi Aaron,

How exciting!  Kidani Village is a beautiful resort, and your family is sure to enjoy the animals roaming on the safari.

Returning to your resort for naps is a great idea. While your 4 month old will probably be able to sleep just about anywhere, your 4 year old will need that extra down time.  I think you as parents will also welcome some time to rest - touring the parks takes a lot out of a person.

As far as how long it takes to travel from your resort to a specific park.  Generally, it takes about 45 minutes to get from door to door.  There is a fun tool at www.ourlaughingplace.com that can help you get a better idea of travel times.

When you go to the site, click on the Planning Tools pull down menu located on the left hand side of the screen.  Choose OLP WDW Transportation Wiz.  From this page, you can plug in your starting and ending destination.  Transportation Wizard will then give you different transportation options (bus, boat, monorail, etc.) and calculate the time that you can expect to travel.  This is not official information, and times are not guaranteed, but it is a fun tool that will help you in your planning.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
