Hi! We have a few days at Magic Kingdom next time we come to WDW and thought we could break up one day at the park by eating at a monorail resort around midday. We're doing other character meals, so another/cheaper option would be nice! Any suggestions?

    Hi Terry,

That's a great idea. We typically take a break during lunch or dinner, and eat outside the Magic Kingdom. It's a good way to avoid the crowds and relax before heading back.

Our preference is to take a quick walk over to the Contemporary and dine at the Wave. We love the food at the Wave, and it's usually much less crowded than the table service restaurants at the Magic Kingdom. If you'd prefer counter service, the Contempo Cafe in the Contemporary is delicious also, and has lots of options.

    Have a great vacation!
