Hey there, Vishal! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such an oh-so-fun question, my foodie friend. Chatting about the
Disney Resort hotels is my favorite!
I am so excited to see that the magic is calling you, and you are answering the call by planning a magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. The first step of planning your adventure is to decide where your magical home away from home will be, and since all of your listed options sleep up to five Guests and will fit your family perfectly, you really cannot go wrong with whatever you decide. In fact, you have just made a list of all my favorite Resorts! But each Disney Resort hotel does offer unique theming, accommodations, dining options, activities and amenities, and I'm more than happy to help you decide which one suits your family best.
When deciding which Disney Resort hotel my family and I will stay at, I first consider the location.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (and
The Villas) and
Disney's Contemporary Resort are all in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area and are located on the monorail loop. So, if your family plans to spend a lot of time at Magic Kingdom and/or watch Happily Ever After right from your Resort, one of these Resorts will be the one for you. The Contemporary and Grand Floridian both have walking paths right to Magic Kingdom, but getting to Magic Kingdom (and even EPCOT) is a pixie-dusted breeze from any of these Resorts. Staying on the monorail loop also gives you easy access to a seemingly endless list of fabulous dining options along the route.
Disney's BoardWalk Inn is within walking distance of both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, so if your family plans to pop in and out of EPCOT for delicious dining or spend a lot of time at Hollywood Studios, this is the Resort for you. I also love being within walking distance of so many dining options at the BoardWalk, Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels which are all nearby.
The next thing to consider is the theming and the vibe of the Resort. Do you want a laid-back, tropical vibe? The Polynesian is right for you. Do you want an elegant home away from home? The Grand Floridian will be right up your alley. Do you like a more modern style? Book the Contemporary. Would you enjoy a lively, turn-of-the-century, Coney Island-style boardwalk vibe? Then, the BoardWalk is the right choice. The Resorts are so immersive and themed the way only Disney can do, so decide which story your family would like to be a part of when making your decision.
I recommend checking out the
planDisney Pocket Guides! I absolutely love these Guides. You have everything you need to know about each Resort right in one place, so it's easy to peruse each one and compare Resorts to help you decide which one is right for your family's magical adventure. But Hakuna Matata, Vishal! It means "no worries." Rest assured that there is no bad decision here, and no matter where you stay, you will have the most pixie-dusted family holiday.
I hope this helps, Vishal, and happy booking and planning! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
Chase the wind and touch the sky,
Mandy
