HI, We are 4 families going to WDW and were inquiring about the weather? We'll be there the first week of march 2015. Should we bring shorts or bathing suits?

    Bonjour Julie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question. I always love visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a big group of people. I find that my vacation’s pixie dust increases exponentially when there are more people around to share in the Disney Magic!

Looking at how cold it is at home in Montreal today, I can safely say that I would much MUCH rather be somewhere warm and sunny right now! That being said, the weather in Central Florida is always somewhat unpredictable. Historically, the average high in March can be about 25°C and the average low is around 12°C. My advice would be to bring the shorts, but to make sure you pack layers as well.

I can confirm that, if you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, your pool will be kept heated to a comfortable 82 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 28°C). So pack those bathing suits - you never know when the mood will strike and the weather will cooperate!

Happy planning and please don’t hesitate to come back to see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
