Hi~We are going to DW Feb. 27th-Mar 7th 2009. My daughter is doing BBB and my son is 7. He loves Star Wars. We are missing the SWW. However, is there a place to get his face painted like a star wars character? Thanks...

    Hi Stephanie!

Another Star Wars fan!  Even though you are missing the Star Wars Weekend, your son will still have the chance for tons of Star Wars action.  In answer to your question, YES he can get his face painted like a Star Wars character!  Near the entrance to the Star Wars ride, a stand is set up for face painting.  My son was the cutest, oops, I mean scariest, Darth Maul I've ever seen.   At this time, the face painting is around $15 plus tax.

Have you heard about the Jedi Training Academy?  This is VERY high on all three of my boys'  "must-do" lists.  Kids are randomly picked from the audience to participate in the battle of a lifetime.  Assuming that you allow him to have his face painted, it might increase his chances of getting picked for the show.  It seems like the Cast Members are looking for kids that are really big fans!   Also, if you have the chance to ride Star Wars at night, listen very closely to hear the Ewoks chit-chatting away!

I bet he would be thrilled to build his very own light-saber at Tatooine Traders, located at the exit to the Star Wars attraction.  Don't you just love how Disney puts a gift shop at every exit???

May the force be with you Stephanie!
