    Hi.We are driving to Florida this year and staying at POFQ 2/25-3/4.We would like to drive our car to the parks and I would like to know if we can walk to the gates for admission or do we have to take shuttles from the parking lots? How long is the walk?

    Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

    If you are driving to the Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom, and wish to walk to the park entrance, I would recommend that you arrive there as early as you can, as near to park opening time as possible.  This is because the parking lots are huge, and the later you arrive, the further away from the entrance you will be.  If you find the walk is too far, there are trams circulating regularly to take you from the parking area to the park entrance.

    The exception to this is Magic Kingdom theme park.  You will park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and then you will have to take the ferry or the monorail to the park entrance.  The ferry takes approximately seven minutes, and the monorail takes slightly less time.  It is not possible to walk from the parking lot to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom.
