Hi!We are doing 5 days Disney and 3 day cruise in April! Cruise is booked but we can't decide on a resort! We have stayed at cbr for yrs and love it but to save money we were thinking aoa. Is there much diff between value and moderate? Thanks :)

    Hello, Sarah!

No matter what you chose, resorts at Walt Disney World are all magically-themed and high on customer service, so you'll have a lovely stay no matter what you choose. :-)

The greatest difference you'll notice between the Moderate Resorts and Value Resorts are the main pool and dining options. Take a look at the photos and descriptions of the main pool areas in the Moderate resorts' pages and you'll see slides, which Value Resorts' pools do not have. In addition, take a look at Dining options offered at Moderate versus Value Resorts; you'll find that there are generally more options at a Moderate Resort than at a Value Resort.

That being said, if you are thinking of saving a little money and are thinking of choosing Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you're in for a spectacular stay! I took a quick tour of this gorgeous property in June and found myself thinking how much my family would love a stay there for so many reasons. Imagineers really outdid themselves when planning this resort, at all levels. The food court, for example, Landscape of Flavors, has so many delicious options that you won't find at other Value Resorts. At the pool, you can hear characters' voices underwater (!) and at Pixel Play Arcade, inside the main lobby area, there are gorgeous-looking upholstered seats for weary parents who need to keep an eye on the kids.

There is so much more about this resort that will wow your entire family, too; I'm sure you'll all love your stay there!

Send more questions as you think of them! We love to help!
