Hi there Gail, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sending your question to us; it is my pleasure to assist you today.
Meeting their favorite Disney pals and princesses is one of my young Mouseketeers must-do experiences when we visit Walt Disney World. As a parent, my most memorable moments have been seeing my little ones' eyes light up with excitement upon seeing the characters. When we returned to the theme parks this past summer, I was curious as to how my children would respond to the new physically distanced character sightings and cavalcades. To my happy surprise, they were absolutely delighted to interact with Chip 'n Dale from their post in Frontierland and wave to Tiana from her Royal Princess Processional.
Gail, at this time, Queen Anna and Elsa are making appearances in the
Princess Promenade cavalcade in
EPCOT. At the
Magic Kingdom Park, several royal ladies including Merida, Cinderella, Tiana, Rapunzel, Aurora, Jasmine, and Ariel grace Guests with their presence in the Royal Princess Processional. My daughter loved this enchanting cavalcade and enjoyed interacting with the princesses from afar. She was thrilled when Ariel complimented her mermaid-inspired outfit and Cinderella waved to her.
I know EPCOT is not currently on your agenda for this trip, but should you wish to catch the Frozen sisters, remember that
park hopping is part of our world again, giving you the option to spend an afternoon or evening in that theme park. To upgrade your admission tickets to include the park hopper upgrade,
call Disney or visit Guest Relations upon arrival. My family is ecstatic that park hopping is back, and we can't wait to take advantage of it on our next vacation.
Gail, I hope this has helped prepare you for your upcoming visit. A little Disney magic is just what we all need right now! If there is anything else we at
planDisney can do before your adventure begins, please come see us again.
Wishing you a memorable vacation,
Betsy
