Hi We will be going to Disney in September and I would like to know where or how can I celebrate my 6 years old son birthday. My son has Diabetes since 4 years old and this will be his first time in Disney and I would like to be something special for h

Let me assure you, Ilga, that Disney is a great place for your celebration; you really can't go wrong no matter what you do.  But if you're looking to add some pixie dust to your son's special day, here are a few suggestions that will be like cherries on top of the biggest and best ice cream sundae ever:

    - Take him to The Pirates League for a buccaneer makeover
    - Book a character dinner with Chef Mickey
    - Sail with the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage
    - Rent a surrey bike and explore Disney's BoardWalk
    - Spend a day at DisneyQuest
    - Visit Fort Wilderness and let his inner Davy Crockett out

Hopefully, one of these ideas will be the perfect suggestion for your celebratory trip.  Have a great time!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
