    Hi, We are going to Disney Feb 2010 with my 2 year old daughter and 3 year old son. I'd like to have one non-buffet meal at a restaurant with a view of the monorail (both kids love trains). Know of anything besides Chef Mickey's? Thanks!

    Hi, Kristine!   While this won't be a fancy meal or even a table service meal, you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the Contempo Cafe, the counter service restaurant at the Contemporary.   My son is a huge monorail fan, and we make a stop at the Contemporary every vacation so we can watch the monorail zoom right through the resort!

    The Contempo Cafe has your usual quick service fare, but I really enjoy their flatbread pizzas and they have really yummy chips (not from a bag, you need to order them with your meal.)  After you eat, there is a game room and some really nice gift shops, and since this is a quick service restaurant, it easily fits into any budget!

    From the Contemporary, you can take the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom, or you can actually walk to the park in under 15 minutes.   This is a really fun way to spend an evening or take an afternoon break from the Magic Kingdom.

    Have fun and I hope your kids enjoy seeing and riding the monorail!
