Hi Elizabeth,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this dining plan question to us!
According to the
Disney Dining plan details for 2018, guests ages 3-9 must order off the children's menu where available. Some restaurants may have a little flexibility so I suggest you check with the cast member who serves you prior to ordering your meals.
Our family loves the Disney Dining plan. I like to remind guests that the plan provides two meals (one quick-service and one table-service) plus two snacks per night of stay. For a six-night stay, each guest 3-years old and over on the dining plan would receive 12 meals (6 quick-service and 6 table service) and 12 snacks for the entire stay plus one resort refillable mug. All meals and snacks will be loaded onto your account when you check-in to the resort and you can use them in the order you choose. If you have not done so already, plan your
dining reservations and other meals to be sure you are using your dining plan credits appropriately.
Since I like to be sure our girls are eating more than just chicken fingers or hot dogs while on vacation, I review the kids meal choices at each restaurant looking for other options. One of our favorite restaurants is
50's Prime Time Café in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Our girls always get Goofy's Salmon, which is a
Mickey Check meal.
Elizabeth, I trust you will find foods your girls will enjoy!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
