Hi Christine, and welcome to planDisney!
Ringing in the new year at
Walt Disney World Resort sounds absolutely perfect, almost like a scene straight out of... a Disney movie! You’ve picked one of the best spots on property for a New Year’s Eve dinner. Narcoossee’s is a favorite of mine, offering incredible food, a warm atmosphere, and a panoramic view of Seven Seas Lagoon with Cinderella Castle in the distance.
To your question, yes, the music from Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks show, typically Happily Ever After but Fantasy in the Sky for New Year's Eve, is piped into
Narcoossee’s, both inside the restaurant and out on the wraparound porch and dock. So whether you’re finishing dessert or stepping outside for some fresh air, you’ll be able to enjoy the full sights and sounds of the show. It’s a breathtaking experience, especially as the fireworks reflect off the water. My wife and I actually caught the show from that same dock on our last visit after grabbing a to-go cocktail from the bar. It was an unforgettable way to close out the night.
If you’re looking for another great viewing option after dinner, I’d also recommend heading over to
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Watching the fireworks from the beach there, toes in the sand and a
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto drink in hand, is one of my favorite ways to wind down. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and captures that perfect end-of-night and end-of-year feeling.
Thank you again for your question, Christine. I hope your evening at Narcoossee’s is every bit as spectacular as the fireworks themselves. If you have any additional planning questions or would like me to provide you with some other recommendations for your vacation, please swing back by planDisney and
submit one directly to me. I’d be happy to help you!
Cheers to a fantastic New Year,
Brent
