Hi, there!
Bridget, I'm so excited to hear you're beginning to plan a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It's my pleasure to help you decide when to best visit!
Traveling with
little ones to the Walt Disney World Resort is such a magical experience, but that's not to say that it doesn't come with challenges. I've taken my kiddos at all ages and each stage has had its own pros and cons, but I'd say taking a nearly 2-year old is just a
little easier overall than taking a nearly 1-year old. Traveling with a 1-year old required some additional gear for us; bottles, formula, bottle brush, bottle soap, baby food, etc. By 2-years old, the only additional things we needed to pack for our babies were diapers and wipes, and we ordered those items from a grocery delivery service so we didn't have to pack them. Our 2-year old babies were also more mobile and more verbal than our 1-year old babies. Now, those skills may seem like more of a con than a pro to some, but we appreciated that our 2-year olds were walking rather than crawling and better able to communicate with us and those around them. Our 2-year old babies also only needed one nap a day, as opposed to two, which gave us a little more flexibility in the theme parks. That all said, you really can't go wrong with when you decide to visit with your kiddos. My husband and I have just loved watching our kids experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort, no matter their age. Whether your children are babies or preschoolers, little kids or big kids - your heart is sure to melt when you see the joy on their precious faces, and you will treasure those memories for a lifetime!
Bridget, I would love to help you plan a magical vacation for your family. If you have any other questions, please let me know!
