Hi, We are coming to Disney world on the 17th of December and are doing a split stay between Wilderness lodge and AOA. what times will the pools be open until at this time of year. Thanks

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Barry! Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, what do we do? WE SWIM! You’ll be splashing along with Dory at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge!

Both of these Disney Resorts have amazing pools with plenty to do. And what’s more is that they are open year round (unless there is a refurbishment planned) and heated to a lovely temperature. You’ll never feel chilly until you get out, but that’s what the complementary use and return pool towels are for. Simply pack your swimsuit and your sunscreen and splash all day! My family enjoys a day at Disney Springs and then swimming in the pool before an in-room pizza dinner. It means we’re still having fun but rested enough to tackle the Parks the next day. The pools are usually open in the winter from about 9am to 9pm, with occasional extended hours if there is a pool party or nice weather.

If I can help you plan another portion of your Walt Disney World Resort trip, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
