    Hi, We bought Genie+ in advance before it was discontinued and will arrive at WDW on May 17th 2023. Will Genie+ be available automatically in My Disney Experience App or do we need to do something to redeem it? Many Thanks, Emma.

I'm here to help you understand how to access Disney Genie+ service during your upcoming visit. You ain't never had a friend like me!

    With Disney Genie+ service, you'll be able to get one jump ahead in attraction queues - no wishes needed! This service, which was previously available for pre-purchase with Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets, will allow you to make Lightning Lane entry selections during your time in the theme parks through bypassing the standby queues. Emma, since you've already purchased Disney Genie+ service for your theme park tickets, you'll be able to start making Lightning Lane entry selections starting at 7:00 a.m. on your first ticketed day - and you won't even need to rub a Magic Lamp! (Just be sure that you've secured theme park reservations for each day you plan to visit a theme park.) Access to Disney Genie+ service will auto-MAGIC-ally appear in your account for each ticketed day. At 7:00 a.m., simply open the My Disney Experience mobile app and navigate to your "Tip Board." Here, you can make your first Lightning Lane entry selection of the day! You'll be eligible to make another selection either two hours after the first selection is made (or two hours after the theme park opens, whichever occurs later), or once your first selection has been redeemed. If you encounter any issues with accessing Disney Genie+ service during your time in the theme parks, simply hop on your Magic Carpet and head to any of the Guest Experience Team umbrellas for assistance.
