Hi. We are booked to stay at the Caribbean beach resort next August 2022..instead of hiring a car we have private transfers from MCO. Are the links to all the theme parks, water parks and Disney springs effective enough for us not to require a car? Thanks

    Hi Tim,

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here at planDisney with your question.  It looks like you are planning a fantastic vacation at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort next summer, I am sure you will love the tropical feel of the resort!

Whenever we visit Walt Disney World Resort, my family and I use Disney Transportation for our entire stay.  While I do find it takes a little longer at peak times, we have always enjoyed leaving the driving to someone else while we are on vacation.  Prior to arrival I like to make sure I have a rough idea of how we are traveling each day and make an itinerary including estimated travel time.  For me it gives me peace of mind and I can relax and enjoy the time with my family.

When leaving for the day, the wait times for the buses are available on the My Disney Experience App, and takes the guess work out of how much time you need to get to the bus stop.  If we have an early morning dining reservation that may require multiple modes of transportation, we may forgo using Disney transportation and request our favourite ride share or taxi.  Sometimes an extra few minutes of sleep makes for a much more magical day.

I hope you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World Resort, Tim.  If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us at planDisney.  We are always happy to help.
