Hi We booked the All Star Movies resort and I was wondering how much it would cost to upgrade to the Art of Animation resort?

Hello Kimberly and welcome to planDisney!  How great it is to see you here with us.

It's so wonderful to know you have a magical Disney trip to look forward to this coming August.  After all, where better to spend your Summer vacation than at none other than Walt Disney World Resort!

With so many choices of accommodation within the Disney Resorts Collection to choose from, it can be so tricky to select a favourite Resort to stay in.  I know I have a really hard time making my Resort choices as each hotel benefits from such unique Disney theming and magical details - it's somewhat like being asked which one is your favourite child!

With this in mind, I'm not at all surprised you've been considering changing your decision between calling Disney's All-Star Movie Resort home, or indeed Disney's Art of Animation Resort home during your Disney vacation.  Both of these great value family hotels are considered to be within the same Disney Resort Collection, but for me, I believe the main advantage of staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort would be its connection to the Disney Skyliner.

The Disney Skyliner provides Guests with a high-in-sky transportation service with connections to Disney's Hollywood Studios, the International Gateway area of Epcot, Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and of course Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  My family almost considers the Disney Skyliner to be an Attraction within its own right!

To gain the most up-to-date pricing, and availability on any possible upgrades I suggest speaking directly with a knowledgeable Cast Member who will be best placed to fully advise you.  Cast Members can be contacted by calling the number for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations contained within this handy Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory, and prior to calling, you'll want to be sure to have your already made Resort reservation number close to hand.

Kimberly, if you should have any further questions about your August vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, then please do drop back to planDisney where we'd be more than happy to help!

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
