Hello Chloe!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question.
My 7-year-old daughter is very much like your kids. She goes to bed early every day, so we always have a hard time getting her to stay up a little later to enjoy fireworks and other experiences while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.
However, I have purchased tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this upcoming December, because during a recent family trip I found out that if I let her sleep in and rest during the afternoon, she ends up saving energy and is able to enjoy evening activities. If you decide to purchase tickets, I recommend making the day of the party a resort day. Sleep in, let your kids enjoy the pool, rest in the afternoon, and make your way to the party in the evening. If they get tired, you are always welcome to
rent a stroller or you bring your own if you prefer. In the end, you know your kids better than anyone else and can make the best decision for your family.
I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a
spooktacular time at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Chloe!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
