Hi We will be arriving in June for our 4th visit to WDW. We have always used a hire car to get around but this time wanted to take advantage of the Disney Transportation. Could you tell me if I can get the boat from Hollywood studios to Epcot.

    Hi Louise,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel truly enjoy helping guests to plan magical vacations! I love that you are thinking of ways to change things up on your fourth visit to Walt Disney World. There is always something new to experience at Walt Disney World!

Getting around Walt Disney World by water transportation is one of my favorite ways to travel. I find these journeys on water to be peaceful and relaxing. I have good news for you! You can take a boat from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Epcot. It is not a direct ride. The boat will make stops at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, Disney's BoardWalk, and Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts along the way to Epcot. Even with the stops, it is a very pleasant boat ride. I would estimate 30 minutes on the boat to get from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Epcot. You can also make this journey on foot; however, it is a good distance of a walk, and I would again budget about 30 minutes. You can also take the boat to any of the resort stops along the way and then walk the rest of the way. This all will work in reverse as well, to get from Epcot to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Louise! Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
