Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Kristin.
You have such a fun
Walt Disney World vacation planned for July, Kristin. My family and I love staying at
The Cabins at Disney's FortWilderness Resort & Campground. In fact, we stay in a cabin every year for Christmas and it is the most magical way to spend a holiday. I think you are really going to enjoy staying there as well.
Kristin, you can make your advanced dining reservation 60 days prior to your check-in day. If you put into an internet search bar "60 days prior to July 13, 2022", it should show you the exact date you can begin making your selections. I did this as well and by my calculations, your 60-day prior mark is Saturday, May 14, 2022. Of course, you will want to double-check this just to make sure I am correct. You can make advanced dining reservations starting at 6:00 a.m. online via your
MyDisneyExperience account or over the phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time.
I would recommend setting your alarm bright and early and being up and at 'em well before that 6:00 a.m. timeframe. I like to have everything set out the night before so I can just roll out of the bed around 5:45 a.m. and have everything up and running before the clock strikes 6:00 a.m. Some of the best places do fill up rather quickly so you will want to be prepared.
Right now, my favorite spot to grab a dining reservation is at
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. The restaurant is set right on the lake and provides the prettiest sunset views. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. My go-to order right now is the lobster roll served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. Yum! The restaurant is rather large so I think it can be pretty easy to snag a reservation for this place - which is really nice!
I have my fingers crossed you are able to make all of the Walt Disney World dining reservations that you are hoping for, Kristin. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
Enjoy.
