Hey there Greg and welcome to planDisney!
I'm so thrilled that you'll be experiencing some kettle-drumming Caribbean Christmas flair during your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a favorite of mine and has the added benefit of being the home to the central hub of the Disney Skyliner. Getting to either
Disney's Hollywood Studios or
EPCOT is sure to be an island breeze. Now all that's left is to book those Advance Dining Reservations to keep your family fueled up for fun on your holiday.
The window for making
Advance Dining Reservations opens exactly 60 days prior to your arrival date. Since December 17th is the day you plan to answer the magical call, October 18th is going to be the day you lock in some dining options. Those reservations become available at 6 AM EST. While this usually has me up at the crack of dawn with coffee you'll be making your reservations before settling in for the night.
Pro-tip:
Magic Kingdom Park on Christmas Day is going to be a time when people are clamoring for dining reservations. I would prioritize this reservation above any other dining on my trip since it will be the toughest to get.
Greg, I hope I've been able to help you today. Be sure that you've purchased those
Theme Park Tickets and made
Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System for each of the days you're visiting to avoid all your hard work on these Advance Dining Reservations going to waste. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!Happy planning!
