Hi there, Ian! Welcome back to planDisney. Thanks for cruising to us with your question!
It won't be long till you are taking in the stunning sights of
Alaska as you set sail on the
Disney Wonder. My family is also sailing on a Disney Cruise to Alaska this summer, and we are counting down the days. Adventure is just ahead!
Yes, you can look forward to a
Frozen-themed Deck Party during your voyage. As it currently stands, you can expect to enjoy the Frozen fun on the third evening of your cruise. Please note that schedules can change sometimes, and you can check the Daily Activity Schedule within the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are onboard the ship to confirm the date and time. Some guests like to dress up. My daughter is planning to wear her Elsa-inspired Mickey ears that night. I've seen everything from a simple accessory or Frozen-themed shirt to an Olaf costume. The suggested attire that evening is "cruise casual," but anyone in your sailing crew who wants to show their love for Frozen, it's the perfect time to do so!
During your 7-night vacation, you can expect one evening to be
Formal Night (likely the second night) and one evening to be Semi-Formal Night (likely the fifth night). While this is the suggested dining attire, you will not be required to dress up. "Cruise Casual" attire is welcome any evening for dinner in the main dining rooms. On Formal Night, you'll see Disney Characters dressed in their best for photos, so for many cruisers, this is a fun group photo opportunity. There will be plenty of photographers ready to take pictures throughout the sailing. If you'd like to purchase photos, you can get a
discounted photo package if you reserve it at least three days before your sailing.
Ian, we'll be here if you have more questions. My pals and I are happy to help, any time.
Have a magical time in Alaska! Bon Voyage!
