Hi Annette!
Dining at Walt Disney World Resort is it's own form of fun. Even the Disney Parks Moms Panelists have hotly contested debates over food. Keep in mind that menus change all the time, bringing in new additions for each season or creating stunning works of
edible art based on new movies, attractions and even social trends. Definitely bookmark the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest info. I even follow them across all social media channels to make sure I never miss a post.
As far as snacks go, you'll find everything from popcorn to poutine, nutella topped mickey waffles to my new favorite, the colossal cinnamon roll at
Kusafiri in Animal Kingdom. When trying to maximize
Disney Dining Plan Snack entitlements, the most expensive snacks are around $6.50, and are usually the non-alcoholic, non-ice cream topped versions. The majority of snack credit snacks fall in the $5 range, and you can even replace breakfast or have mini meals if you plan your credits accordingly.
As far as
what to eat and from where, I recommend: a Dole Whip Float at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom Park; the Croissant Jambon Fromage (a ham and cheese croissant sandwich, and yes you want it warmed up) from the Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France pavilion of Epcot's World Showcase; the Butterfinger Cupcake from the bakery case inside Sweet Spells at Disney's Hollywood Studio's; the Baked Macaroni and Cheese topped with Pulled Pork from Eight Spoon Cafe in Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Happy Snacking, Annette, and We'll See You Real Soon!
