Hi This is our first Disney vacation & this forum is invaluable. Thanks a lot to all the panel members. :) We wondered if Disney share certificates are still available & can they be purchased in downtown Disney? Thanks a lot

Hi Tracey! I'm thrilled you are enjoying the Disney Parks Moms Panel - we love to answer your questions!  I believe you are asking about a program that advertises the purchase of one share of Disney stock.  According to the Frequently Asked Questions on thewaltdisneycompany.com, Disney is aware of that program but it is not offered by Disney directly.  Disney states that there are two ways to purchase shares in Disney and that is through their Walt Disney Investment Plan program and the other is through a brokerage firm or financial institution of your choice.  You can read more about the Disney stock at the website above.

That being said, if you perform an internet search on "purchase one share Disney stock," you will find the companies that offer the framed stock certificate.

I hope this helps and we look forward to answering more of your questions!  Have a magical day, Tracey!
