Greetings, Stacy! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I have visited the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort several times and I can honestly say that the charm, history, and ease of the Disneyland Resort has definitely won me over! And a visit to during the
Holidays is completely magical. Dazzling decor abounds at the Disneyland Resort with sparkling lights and garland adorning nearly every nook and cranny. Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle is absolutely stunning, but the lights on the facade of "it's a small world" are truly a masterpiece.
As you plan for the basics of your trip, you will want to consider staying at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. Each hotel is mere footsteps from the parks and they all offer exquisite dining options and amenities. My all-time favorite, though, is the Disneyland Hotel. I love the ambiance, elegance, and history of this hotel so much that I try to stay there as often as I can. Additionally, with a stay at any Disneyland Resort Hotel, you will have access to
Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay.
The next thing to consider is tickets. Everything at the Disneyland Resort is within walking distance which is why I always recommend Park Hopper Tickets. It could not be easier to hop between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Furthermore, I would plan on a minimum of three days at the parks and up to five days if you are able. Extra days allow you to see and do a multitude of things and experience your favorites multiple times.
I wish I could go on, but I am limited in space. So, please return with any other questions you may have. Happy planning!
