    Hi-thanks for so many great answers. We are planning to make a reservation at the Tusker House for a character breakfast. I'm wondering if we can make an 8am reservation even if we are staying off park? What does that mean for the 9am opening time? Thanks!

    Hi Chris!

    For any other Walt Disney World park, there would be no problems.  The problem with the Animal Kingdom, however, is that the parking lot doesn't open that early in the morning.  Since you're coming from offsite, that could be a problem.  I was there in January waiting outside the toll plaza to the parking lot to get in, and we were not allowed in until about 15 minutes before park opening.  However, there were guests already inside because they were able to take Disney transportation from their Disney resort.

    I suggest making a later reservation at Tusker House, which is a wonderful place to eat.  Good luck!
