Hi. Thanks for your answer. Do all the Parks have specific bathroom / toileting facilities for disabled people separate from usual bathroom facilities? My husband & I will need to toilet our daughter together in the same bathroom at the Parks

    Welcome Back Donna ~

That is an excellent question and it is always a great idea to have a restroom plan in place. My son doesn't always give us a lot of warning so we have to be ready when it is time.

There are companion restrooms located in all of the theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. As you enter each theme park, pick up a Guide for Guests with Disabilities. You can also download the maps online. On the page with the heading "Accessibility & Mobility", it will give you a list of all the companion restrooms in that theme park. They are also shown on the map. The legend will show you the symbols for regular restrooms, accessible restrooms, and companion restrooms.

You can also find companion restrooms on the My Disney Experience mobile app. There are headings at the top of the home screen (the first one is "Wait Times"). Swipe left until you reach "Restrooms". It will show you the restroom locations in that park. You can tap on each symbol to see if there is a companion restroom located there as well. Tap on "Get Directions" to assist you getting there from your current location. Another option is using the filter icon in the lower right screen and select a location (i.e., Magic Kingdom) and then tap on the list icon also in the lower right corner. It will bring up a list of all restrooms in that park including the companion restrooms. Cast Members are always happy to help point you in the right direction as well.

Sometimes we've had to wait a few minutes at the companion restrooms so be prepared for that. As I'm sure you know, it just takes a little longer.

Keep the questions coming. It is my pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
