    Hi! Staying in animal kingdom lodge hotel wondered if i can exchange travellers cheques there? also can i pay off 'key to the world card' with them? can i do this regularly throughout the holiday rather then at the end so i can see what is spent thanks!

    Hi there Samantha!

    Although I can't see where you're from, I'm going to guess Canada or the UK since you spelled 'cheques' the same way I do here in Canada!

    You are indeed able to cash Traveler's Cheques at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort. You may do so at the front desk and certainly can choose to apply them directly towards any balance you've incurred by charging to your resort room account through your Key to the World Card.

    I often do the same thing you're suggesting as I prefer to keep on top of charges as we go through our holiday rather than one, large, surprise bill at the end! What I usually do is to lock our cash (after cashing TCs) or TCs into our in-room safe after checking in. On the way back to the resort each day - or every second or third day, I pop by the front desk and ask for a print out of room charges to date. I take it back to the room with me to review that evening and then on the way out in the morning, I'll stop by the front desk with some cash or TCs and pay off the balance up to that point. You're able to do this as often as you wish. I find it easiest to get the print outs in the evening and make the payments in the morning - rather than a lot of back and forth for payment at the same time.
