Hiya Daniela!
Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so happy that you decided to stop by planDisney to ask us your question during your planning process, and I am honoured that I get to help you today. Plus, you picked an especially magical time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with Halloween right around the corner!
You are correct that valid admission now includes buying your
theme park ticket and making a
theme park reservation for the park you intend to visit. If you purchase theme park tickets with the
Park Hopper Option, you only have to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit. However, you must visit the theme park you selected before park hopping, as you will not be allowed into that second theme park otherwise. In addition, it is important to note that park hopping becomes available starting at two P.M. EST, and park-to-park buses start running at around 1:30 P.M. If you would like to visit any of the water parks, however, these do not require a theme park reservation. I highly recommend that you book your theme park reservations as soon as you have purchased your theme park tickets and that you
check the availability calendar, as reservations are subject to availability.
Now, there are a lot of sources you can use to get help while planning your magical vacation! First, the Walt Disney World Resort has a
Frequently Asked Question and a
Help Center that hold a lot of information, so I always look there when I have a question. In addition, the
My Disney Experience service has a checklist in the "My Plans" section so that you won't forget any important aspects of your vacation! Second, you can work with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner in your area as they can help further when booking various reservations. Third, I highly recommend looking up your questions on planDisney as they might have already been answered, and the search bar allows you to dig through questions from years of panelist advice! You can always send us any other questions, and check out our planDisney podcast and social media accounts for more tricks. Finally, don't hesitate to contact a Cast Member via chat, email or phone. They will also be able to answer more questions about
special offers, but make sure to check out special offers online as well. Typically Cast Member discounts are only available to active Cast Members, but the Help Center may be able to help further!
I hope this was helpful, Daniela, and that you will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach back out. Like grim grinning ghosts, we love to come out and socialize!
Boo to you and happy Halloween,
Ariane
