Can we hire boats at disney hotels if not staying on property?

Hi Peter!  So exciting that you will be visiting Walt Disney World all the way from England!

Boat rentals are available at many locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort and spending some time relaxing on the water is the perfect way to spend a day away from the parks.  Anyone can take advantage of these watercraft rentals... the service is not limited to guests of Disney World Resort Hotels.

Advanced reservations are not accepted, so just stop by the rental location of your choice to check for availability on the day you wish to "set sail."  My favorite Disney waterway is the Seven Seas Lagoon!  To boat in this picturesque setting with pristine views of Cinderella Castle, you can visit the marina at the Polynesian Resort or the Grand Floridian.

Please note:  If you wish to enjoy a Fireworks Cruise, these special excursions are available to anyone but must be booked in advance through Walt Disney World Recreation.  They can be reached by calling (407)WDW-PLAY.

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
