Hi! Platinum & Premium dining plans: Can those be added to a DVC res on points? Is 3 nt min for either plan still true for 2014? Do components (not just dining credits) of plan extend to midnight on day of check out? (4 days of use on 3 nt

    Hi Michelle,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your questions!

As Disney Vacation Club members, we can add the Quick-Service Dining Plan, Dining Plan, or Deluxe Dining Plan to our Disney Vacation Club reservations.  I think that the simplest way to do this is to call 1-800-800-9800 and work with the cast member there to add these to your reservation.  You cannot add the Premium or Platinum Plan to your Disney Vacation Club reservation.

If you are interested in participating in the Premium or Platinum Plan, I suggest that you call Walt Disney World reservations at (407) W-DISNEY (407-934-7639).  With the cast member there, you can plan a vacation at a Walt Disney World resort including the Premium or Platinum Plan.  I believe that you are correct about the three-night minimum and the components of the plan extending until midnight on your check-out day; however, you should confirm both of these with the cast member with whom you make the reservation to be sure that they hold true for your reservation.

You can find information about all of the Disney Dining Plans online.  From that site, you can download brochures about all of the Dining Plans for 2013 and 2014.

I want to thank my fellow Moms Panelists Amanda P. and Jackie G. for their input on this answer.

I hope that this information helps, Michelle, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
